NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
Children of all ages will be fascinated by the natural wonders on display at this historic museum, which is free to enter. From complete dinosaur skeletons to the life-size model of the blue whale, this is the perfect chance for children to experience and learn about the majesty of nature up close. Much of the museum's offering is geared towards children, with various exhibitions and activities available for all age groups.
SCIENCE MUSEUM
This museum helps children to understand how the world around them works, while having fun at the same time. Also free to enter, there are seven floors to explore, each devoted to a different area of science. There are plenty of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities to keep kids entertained and even an IMAX cinema to help bring science to life.
OTHER MUSEUMS
Other museums Kensington is also home to the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), which houses some of the world's finest art and design and holds daily activities to encourage children to connect with their creative side. Leighton House, the former home of the Victorian artist Frederic, Lord Leighton, is well worth a visit for families with older children who can marvel at its unique architecture, paintings and sculpture.
